I found this video about Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour yesterday. I watched it because I met the founder Bob Farrell in the US a few years ago. Bob's thing was great customer service and creating a memorable experience. Bob founded Farrell's in 1963 and grew it to 123 restaurants. Farrell's was one of the first franchise style restaurants in the world.
The video is very old but it is really worth watching! In it you will see their 'secrets to success'; their company values, their hiring practices, their focus on the 'old world' values of the public, giving good value for money, marketing the menu by naming products, fun, heart and on and on...
